Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Craig Teichroew (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Dixon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Craig Teichroew! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ryan Dixon! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Gregory Folan and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Teichroew throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Dixon fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Dixon avoids the head kick by Teichroew.
Teichroew throws a nice looking combination but Dixon bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Dixon doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Dixon throws a right hand that Teichroew ducks under and follows up with a left that Teichroew also avoids with ease. Craig Teichroew seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Teichroew misses with a few strikes there.
Nice defenses there by Dixon. No joy there for Teichroew, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dixon looks for a takedown but Teichroew sprawls well. Dixon shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Teichroew sprawls well. Teichroew wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Dixon gets slowly back to his feet. Craig Teichroew has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ryan Dixon. Teichroew throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
so Dixon counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
That's one minute gone in the round. Teichroew controls Dixon momentarily but Dixon frees himself. Dixon throwing strikes from guard but Teichroew blocks nicely. Dixon lands a couple of decent looking shots. Dixon missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Teichroew has Dixon pulled in close to control his posture. Dixon trying to control but Teichroew is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Dixon working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Teichroew avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Dixon wants to control from the top but Teichroew keeps moving. Dixon is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Dixon dodges the punch combination from Teichroew.

and Dixon counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dixon's corner is telling him to maintain position. Dixon loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Dixon throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Dixon wants to pass the guard but Teichroew is keeping the position. Dixon looks gassed! Teichroew preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Dixon throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Dixon scoring with some ground and pound. That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Dixon trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Dixon tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Teichroew swivels and escapes. Dixon shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Teichroew defends it nicely. Teichroew's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Teichroew duly obliges. Teichroew falls off balance throwing a combination
and Teichroew takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Teichroew scores with a one two! Dixon had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ryan Dixon dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Teichroew bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Dixon's head. Dixon misses with a hook to the body
and Teichroew counters with a flying knee. Nice. A punch combination from Teichroew misses. Dixon with a poor takedown and Teichroew connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Teichroew!
Teichroew getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Teichroew throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Teichroew throws a head kick but Dixon moves out of range.
Teichroew scores with a jab to the body. Dixon is breathing heavily. Dixon showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Teichroew.
Dixon shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Teichroew counters with a three punch combo that has Dixon backing up. Dixon nods at Teichroew to acknowledge the strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Teichroew ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Dixon throws a shot from downtown. Teichroew moves away and avoids it. No joy there for Teichroew, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Dixon fails with the takedown and Teichroew makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Craig Teichroew has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ryan Dixon. Teichroew looks to land a combination but Dixon avoids it well. Teichroew throws a right and a left that both miss. Teichroew misses with the combination.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Dixon closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Dixon dodges the punch combination from Teichroew.

Dixon has his takedown stuffed and Teichroew counters with a left and a right that stings Dixon. Teichroew lands a nice looking body shot.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Dixon takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Teichroew digs a good body shot into Dixon's ribs. Left hook, right uppercut from Teichroew. Teichroew tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Teichroew scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Dixon walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Dixon shoots and misses and Teichroew cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Dixon on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Dixon shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Dixon showed some decent athleticism there. Dixon wants to lay and pray for a moment but Teichroew keeps working. Dixon not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Teichroew is refusing to be controlled, as Dixon sits in half guard. Teichroew is trying to stand back up but Dixon is controlling him

Craig Teichroew dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Dixon feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Teichroew keeping moving, preventing Dixon from controlling successfully. Dixon must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Dixon thows a big elbow that misses. Teichroew pushes Dixon off and scrambles back to his feet.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Dixon fails with the takedown. Teichroew digs a good body shot into Dixon's ribs. Teichroew throws a head kick but Dixon moves out of range.
Dixon shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Teichroew's guard. Dixon pushing down on Teichroew's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dixon prevents Teichroew from improving his position. Dixon is looking to advance position but Teichroew won't allow it. Dixon is trying to control. Teichroew wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Dixon missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Dixon is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Dixon throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Dixon lands a nice short elbow.

Teichroew regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Dixon. Dixon with a nice head shot there. Teichroew wants to stand and escape but Dixon is having none of it.
And that's the end of the fight! Ryan Dixon comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Dixon has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
