The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carter misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Carter looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Kennemore stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kennemore wants it to stay on the feet.
Derek Kennemore has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of AJ Carter.
