Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dylan James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cacique Coral (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cacique Coral will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dylan James! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Cacique Coral! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Coral shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has James pinned against the cage. James gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. James gets a takedown into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Coral looking for submissions from an awkward position here. James wants to control but Coral is keeping him busy. Coral wants to improve his position but James is controlling well.
James wants to pass the guard but Coral is defending well. James seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Coral is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but James pulls his head out easily. James winds up and cracks Coral with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Coral looking for submissions off his back.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Coral gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and James counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Coral looks gassed!
That's one minute gone in the round. James wants to pass the guard but Coral is defending well. James wants to take a breather but Coral is having none of it. James stands up and beckons Coral to join him on the feet. Coral shoots and misses and James counters with a takedown into side control. Dylan James has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cacique Coral. James landing a few strikes. James wants to lay and pray for a moment but Coral keeps working. James decides to stand back up. Coral blocks a head kick by James.
Cacique Coral seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. James throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Coral was covering up waiting for the punch and James finishes the takedown easily into guard.

James might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Coral keeping moving, preventing James from controlling successfully. Coral looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
James is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. James trying to control but Coral is working from the bottom. The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. James thows a body kick. Coral tries to catch it but that hurt him. James wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. James drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. James is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. James stands up over Coral, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Hammerfist, elbow! yells James's corner. There ya go! There ya go! James not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. James has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Coral working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. James doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. James manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. James lands a couple of digs. James wants to control from the top but Coral keeps moving. James is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. James trying to control the position from guard on top but Coral is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. James scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. James lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Nice strikes from James there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

James looks to score with a jab to the body but Coral is just out of range. James tries to clinch up but Coral circles away and keeps his distance. Coral misses with a takedown and James counters with a shoot takedown. Coral fights it but they end up in guard. James is in close to Coral's body, working some short punches and elbows. James looking to control the position here, rather than advance. James connects with a couple of short punches. Coral is breathing heavily. James trying to control but Coral is working from the bottom. James is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Coral avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. James is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Coral has momentary wrist control but James slips an elbow through the middle. James pushing down on Coral's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. James working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Coral looking for submissions off his back. Coral is staying active underneath James, who seems content to just control the action from this position. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
James looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Coral looking for submissions off his back. James stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. James shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Coral's guard. Coral has momentary wrist control but James slips an elbow through the middle. Dylan James overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. James wants to control from the top but Coral keeps moving. James gets to his feet. Coral looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! James tries to close the distance and clinch up but Coral swats him away and circles back towards the center. Coral shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and James counters with a single leg into guard. Coral didn't expect that.

No, James has managed to get both his arms back between Coral's legs - danger averted. Coral working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. James doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. James manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. James tries to stand but Coral is controlling from the bottom. James wants to control from the top but Coral keeps moving. James wants to stand but Coral is controlling his posture from full guard. James lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. James is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Coral can do to turn this around? James postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Coral tries to get back to half guard but can't. James wants to control but Coral is keeping him busy. Cacique Coral has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
And that's the end of the fight! Dylan James showed his dominance in that final round. Well James has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
