Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dayne George (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jaron Baston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dayne George! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jaron Baston! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Wesley Smith and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! George throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
George throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Baston's head. George stuffs the takedown. Baston looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Baston passes the guard and advances to mount! Baston punishing his opponent with strikes. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Baston with shots to the head and body - George looks very uncomfortable down there.
That's one minute gone in the round. George tries to hold on but Baston postures up. Baston takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Baston has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of George's face.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Baston working away from the top, dropping strikes. Baston content just to control the position here. George in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. George is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. George knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Baston on the ground. Baston connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A nice elbow there by Baston. Baston controlling the position easily from mount. Baston is going olschool here, as he tries to force George to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so George shrugs it off. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jaron Baston dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
The fight stays on the outside here - George looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Baston is looking to clinch. Baston tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Dayne George seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Baston shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. George is trying to defend but Baston finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Baston keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Jaron Baston has got the better of the ground game so far. George trying to control but Baston postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Baston controlling the action here. Baston seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Baston decides to stand and escape the position. George tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Baston paws at him with a jab and circles away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. George wants to clinch up but Baston keeps it at a distance. Baston shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Baston showed some decent athleticism there. Baston is taking a breather. George says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Baston's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Baston is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. George doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Baston. Baston tries to pass to full mount but George defends it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Baston is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for George! Baston controlling the position easily from mount. George wants to control but Baston is having none of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jaron Baston showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

George tries to clinch but Baston is having none of it. Baston shoots in looking for a takedown. George tries to sprawl out of it but Baston keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. George manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. George circles away from the clinch attempt.
Baston cracks George with an open hand slap. Baston swats away the attempt to clinch by George. Baston shoots in for a double leg but George sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. George wants to clinch up but Baston keeps it at a distance. George tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Baston shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. George is trying to defend but Baston finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Baston passes the guard and advances to mount! Both fighters are breathing heavily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Baston has control of George's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and George regains control of the situation pretty easily.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Baston fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Baston cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Baston controlling the pace for now. George is bucking up trying to escape but Baston cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Baston sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Dayne George has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Jaron Baston is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
And that's the end of the fight! Jaron Baston comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Baston winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
