Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between David Duncan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Felix Sturdivant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, David Duncan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Felix Sturdivant! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Stewart Dunkirk and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sturdivant throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Duncan's waist but Duncan gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sturdivant off to one side. Duncan moves away from the strike by Sturdivant. Duncan tries for a takedown but Sturdivant circles away easily and Sturdivant counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Sturdivant misses with a looping left. A big right from Sturdivant misses. Duncan misses with a wild combination.
Sturdivant swings away with a leg kick that misses. Duncan forces Sturdivant back against the cage and clinches. Duncan has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Sturdivant uses from the top position. Sturdivant in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Sturdivant throwing strikes from guard but Duncan blocks nicely. Sturdivant throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Duncan works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Sturdivant throws and elbow that misses. Duncan uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Sturdivant's guard. Nice move by Duncan! Sturdivant looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sturdivant working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Duncan has passed into half guard!
Sturdivant pushes Duncan off looking to stand but Duncan dives back in and keeps control.
Duncan is looking to pass Sturdivant's guard but actually Sturdivant recovers to full guard. Duncan stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sturdivant swivels though and keeps the full guard. Sturdivant looking for a guillotine here but Duncan defends easily.
Sturdivant working for submissions but it's allowed Duncan to get to half guard.
Sturdivant looks gassed!
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Duncan stalling. Sturdivant wants to get back to his feet.
Duncan content to control rather than advance.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sturdivant is looking to escape. Duncan in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Sturdivant tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Duncan!
