Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Quinten Duncan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roberto Clean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Quinten Duncan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Roberto Clean!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Alan Glass and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Duncan shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Clean's guard.
Clean is trying to control the position but Duncan postures up.
Duncan controlling from the top position.

Duncan gets to his feet - Clean follows without any prompting.

Duncan changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Clean looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Duncan wants to control but Clean is keeping him busy.
Clean is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Duncan could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Clean struggling a bit here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Clean manages to work his way to half guard, despite Duncan's best efforts.
Clean trying to control but Duncan postures up.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Duncan moves into the clinch successfully.

Clean manages to pull guard.
Duncan is stalling in the full guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Clean is on top in guard.
Clean controlling from the top position.

Clean tries to stand but Duncan is controlling from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Clean stopping the sweep attempt from Duncan.
Duncan avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Clean trying to control but Duncan is working from the bottom.
Clean is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Clean trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Clean slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Duncan keeping moving, preventing Clean from controlling successfully.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Clean scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Duncan wants to get back to his feet.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Clean in particular looking to stall.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Quinten Duncan will probably get the nod.
That's time! Duncan's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

and Duncan counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Clean!
Clean tries to hold on but Duncan pushes him away.

Duncan is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Clean has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Clean!

Clean gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Duncan shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Clean moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Clean kicks Duncan off and gets to his feet.
Duncan defending well as Clean loads up on a big left hand.

and Duncan counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Clean's guard now.
Quinten Duncan overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Duncan won't allow Clean to get back to his feet.

and Duncan counters with a nice double leg into side control. Clean won't be happy with that.
Clean sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Clean wants to improve his position but Duncan is controlling well.

Clean gets back to full guard.

Clean is trying to hold Duncan in close to prevent damage but Duncan has managed to pass into half guard.

Clean manages to escape and get back to his feet!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Clean doesn't manage to clinch there - Duncan circles away.
Clean gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

so Duncan counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Quinten Duncan dominated that second round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Clean wants to clinch but Duncan slips to the side

and Duncan counters with a takedown into side control.

Clean is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Duncan's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Clean keeping moving, preventing Duncan from controlling successfully.
Clean is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Clean pulls Duncan in close to his closed guard and prevents Duncan from doing any damage or advancing position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Clean shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Duncan counters with a shoot takedown. Clean fights it but they end up in guard.
Duncan has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Duncan stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Clean swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Duncan might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Clean not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Duncan is looking to stand up but Clean won't let him.
Duncan wants to control from the top but Clean keeps moving.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Clean tries for a takedown but Duncan circles away easily

and Duncan counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Clean looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Clean working for a triangle but Duncan defends it easily.
Clean seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Duncan stands up from Clean's guard - Duncan perhaps looking for a knockout.

so Duncan counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Quinten Duncan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roberto Clean.
Duncan is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Clean has his feet on Duncan's thighs here. He's pushed Duncan off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Duncan screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
