The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crazie throws a sloppy head kick and pukki moves out of range easily.
pukki looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Crazie moves into the clinch.
Crazie fails to pull the fight into his guard.
pukki is trying to break the clinch but Crazie has him pressed against the cage.
Crazie has a couple of punches blocked by pukki.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Crazie drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Crazie jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

so Crazie counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Crazie is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

and Crazie counters with a shoot takedown. pukki fights it but they end up in guard.
Crazie is fighting to break pukki's control of his arms but pukki is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Crazie sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed pukki's guard.
pukki really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Crazie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Crazie seems to be working for a kimura but pukki defends the submission attempt.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Crazie has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but pukki can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
pukki stands and throws Crazie's legs to the side, diving into side control.
pukki creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
pukki has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

pukki is sitting in close to Crazie's body. Crazie has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! pukki is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, pukki is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Crazie.
