Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Jacobs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chong Li (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jimmy Jacobs! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Chong Li! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Li fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Jacobs is out of range. Li tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Jacobs stuffs the takedown attempt from Li. Li gets slowly back to his feet. Jacobs looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Li! Li working to try and regain half guard.
Jacobs working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Jacobs trying to control but he's not successful this time. Jacobs swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Li is now in Jacobs's guard. A big mistake from Jacobs there, giving up the dominant position! Jacobs working for submissions but it's allowed Li to get to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jacobs actively working from the bottom here. Li tries to pass to full mount but Jacobs defends it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Li is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Jacobs sees it coming and defends easily. Li wants to stand up but Jacobs has a hold of him and won't allow it. Jacobs is pressing down on Li's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Li trying to control the position from guard on top but Jacobs is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Jacobs throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Jacobs is breathing heavily. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Jacobs can't keep his opponent in guard - Li advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Li works his way into full mount! Li looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jacobs is desperately trying to improve his position but Li has a good base and remains in mount. Li tries to control but Jacobs wriggling away. Li jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Jacobs manages to avoid the submission attempt. Li trying to control the action but Jacobs is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Jacobs looking for a sweep but Li has passed into full mount! Oh no! Li wants to control the pace but Jacobs is squirming around nicely. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Li is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Jacobs can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Chong Li dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Li gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Jacobs wants to control from the top but Li keeps moving. Jacobs drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Li dives on top into guard. Li is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Jacobs looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Li has picked Jacobs up and slammed him! Jacobs can't keep hold of the triangle and Li manages to pass to side control! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Li tries to stand but Jacobs is controlling his head. Sloppy strikes there by Li. Li is looking to take a break and control but Jacobs is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Li misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Jacobs is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Li moves into full mount!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Li thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Li looking to control but Jacobs is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Jacobs is wriggling around trying to escape.
Jacobs avoids a series of strikes thrown by Li.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Li wants to finish this one by submission but Jacobs is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Li. Li wants to get back to his feet but Jacobs is holding on tight.
Li wants to control but Jacobs has made it back to half guard. Nice work. Li is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Li wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jacobs keeps working.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Li is working for a submission of some sort.
Li is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Jacobs is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Li jumps into side control! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Jacobs is not content to let Li control the position. Jacobs tries to buck Li off but Li is having none of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chong Li showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Jacobs goes for an armbar but Li turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Li. Jacobs keeping moving, preventing Li from controlling successfully. Li drops back looking for a leg! Jacobs is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Jacobs manages to kick Li off! Li jumps back into Jacobs's guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Chong Li has got the better of the ground game so far. Jacobs has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Li can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Li tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jacobs swats him away and circles back towards the center. Jimmy Jacobs is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Li shoots in looking for a takedown. Jacobs tries to sprawl out of it but Li keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jacobs manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Jacobs closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jacobs is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Li is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Li tries to escape but Jacobs is in control. Jacobs tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Jacobs looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Jacobs has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Li gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Jimmy Jacobs showed his dominance in that final round. I think Li has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
