The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gomez drives through and clinches with Quiad against the cage.
Gomez's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Quiad throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Gomez.
Guillermo Gomez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Horrible takedown by Quiad or perhaps it was just good defense by Gomez which made him look bad.
Quiad drives through and clinches with Gomez against the cage.

Gomez scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Quiad is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Gomez can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
