Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rady Remigio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shinji Kurokami (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Kurokami's choice of entrance music: Hekireki. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rady Remigio! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Shinji Kurokami! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shirou Masuda and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Remigio closes this distance looking for a takedown but Kurokami circles away. Kurokami shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Remigio is trying to defend but Kurokami finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Kurokami is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Remigio is staying active underneath Kurokami, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Kurokami in particular looking to stall. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kurokami not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Kurokami keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Remigio is looking for a sweep. Kurokami is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Remigio is trying to stand up here but Kurokami is controlling him well. Kurokami seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Kurokami takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Kurokami throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Kurokami seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Remigio fails with the takedown and Kurokami counters with a nice double leg into guard. Kurokami trying to control the position from guard on top but Remigio is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kurokami is standing up over Remigio. Remigio looks to escape but Kurokami dives into side control.
Kurokami decides to stand back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kurokami shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Remigio's guard. Remigio has an active guard here but Kurokami has managed to pass into half guard.
Remigio is breathing heavily. Kurokami wants to stand but Remigio has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Remigio wants to control but Kurokami is keeping busy and won't allow it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Let's hope that Kurokami has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Remigio makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kurokami misses with a takedown attempt - Remigio sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Kurokami drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Remigio is trying to control Kurokami's posture but Kurokami avoids it. Kurokami wants to lay and pray for a moment but Remigio keeps working. Kurokami has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Remigio shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Remigio showed some decent athleticism there. Remigio throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Remigio seems to be looking for submissions.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Kurokami is trying to stand up here but Remigio is controlling him well. Kurokami is trying to maintain the position but Remigio is very close to passing his half guard. Kurokami kicks Remigio off and gets back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kurokami is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Remigio swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Kurokami counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Remigio tries to roll over but Kurokami keeps him under control. Kurokami is thwarting Remigio's attempts to control the position. Remigio pushes Kurokami off looking to stand but Kurokami dives back in and keeps control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Remigio is staying active underneath Kurokami, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Kurokami stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Remigio to get to his feet. Kurokami misses with a combination
and Remigio decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Kurokami's guard. Kurokami wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Remigio advances to half guard. Kurokami won't allow Remigio to pass to mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kurokami is concentrating on defense, preventing Remigio from advancing position. Kurokami wants to get back to his feet.
Kurokami has his hands clasped together around Remigio's back. He's all about the action. Shinji Kurokami has got the better of the ground game so far. Kurokami is trying to maintain the position but Remigio is very close to passing his half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Shinji Kurokami will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's time! Back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Kurokami is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Remigio defends it well. Kurokami is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Remigio is looking to improve his position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Kurokami looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Remigio!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Remigio is desperately trying to improve his position but Kurokami has a good base and remains in mount. Kurokami trying to control but he's not successful this time. Kurokami gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks! Kurokami tries to close the distance and clinch up but Remigio swats him away and circles back towards the center. Remigio with a poor takedown and Kurokami counters with a shoot takedown. Remigio fights it but they end up in guard. Kurokami must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Kurokami stays in close to Remigio's body and controls the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kurokami tries to stand but Remigio is controlling from the bottom. Remigio is working an open guard so Kurokami takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Remigio tries to clinch up and Kurokami decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Remigio's guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Shinji Kurokami comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Kurokami has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
