Taylor comes to the cage accompanied by Morning Light - Concorde Dawn. Patterson has chosen The Faint - Hospital as his entrance music. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taylor ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Patterson moves away.
Taylor misses with a body kick.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Patterson.
Patterson dives in and grabs Taylor's left leg, looking for a takedown. Taylor pushes down on Patterson's head and hops out.
Patterson closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Patterson is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Taylor is trying to escape and Patterson transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Taylor is forced to tap! Nice work there by Patterson! Very nice indeed!
