The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Roosa Järviläinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pommittaja pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Paulssen stuns Pommittaja with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Pommittaja tries for a takedown but Paulssen sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Paulssen swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Pommittaja shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Pommittaja is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Paulssen drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Pommittaja manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Paulssen has Pommittaja in his guard.
Paulssen kicks Pommittaja off and gets to his feet.
Paulssen fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Pommittaja manages to avoid it.
Paulssen cracks a nice hook into Pommittaja's ribs.
Paulssen looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Pommittaja is fending him off so far but Paulssen persists. Nope, Pommittaja circles away and we're back to standing.
Pommittaja tried to score with a low kick but Paulssen checks it.
Pommittaja throws a leg kick but Paulssen sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Pommittaja misses with a few strikes there.
Paulssen shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Pommittaja sprawls well. Pommittaja wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Paulssen gets slowly back to his feet.
Paulssen connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
It looks like Katu Pommittaja has been cut.
Pommittaja should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

That has opened up Katu Pommittaja's cut even more.
Pommittaja throws a lazy right hand but Paulssen sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Paulssen smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
