Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nathan Butler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and tyler turner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Butler has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Nathan Butler! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, tyler turner! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Donald Grub and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! turner darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. turner is looking for a kimura here.
turner is pressing down on Butler's thigh, looking to free his foot. Butler is holding on for now. turner decides to stand up. turner scores with a takedown into Butler's guard. Butler could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Butler is breathing heavily. turner wants to control from the top but Butler keeps moving. turner thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. turner wants to control from the top but Butler keeps moving. Butler looking for a sweep. Not yet Butler, not yet. Butler keeping moving, preventing turner from controlling successfully. turner wanted to stand there but Butler had control of the position. turner thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. turner looking to pass the guard.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. turner scores with a leg kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Butler leaves turner with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. turner shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Butler's guard. Butler lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for turner! turner can't escape the position.
turner wants to hold on but Butler pushes him away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. turner tries to reverse the position but Butler maintains control. Butler swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and turner is now in Butler's guard. A big mistake from Butler there, giving up the dominant position! The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. turner wants to control from the top but Butler keeps moving. turner tries to stand but Butler is controlling from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. turner wants to pass the guard but Butler is keeping the position. Butler might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Butler holds on and takes a little breather. turner pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Butler is keeping the position for now. turner stands up from guard. Let's bang! tyler turner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. turner shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. turner trying to control the position from guard on top but Butler is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
tyler turner dominated that round. The cut man is working on Nathan Butler's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Horrible takedown by turner or perhaps it was just good defense by Butler which made him look bad. turner changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Butler tries to avoid it but turner manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Butler to the ground. Butler escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Butler wants to clinch up but turner keeps it at a distance. Butler fails with a takedown attempt from distance. turner tries to clinch but fails miserably and Butler counters with a single leg into guard. turner didn't expect that. turner trying to keep a closed guard but Butler is proving a slippery customer.
Butler controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Butler postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. turner bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Butler's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Butler throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
turner preventing the sweep. turner advances to half guard. turner wants to lay and pray for a moment but Butler keeps working. Butler is looking for a sweep. turner is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Butler trying to control but turner postures up.
turner is trying to control the action in half guard but Butler is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Butler shoots in for a double leg but turner sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. turner shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Butler has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. turner is working away from the top position though. Butler trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but turner manages to pass to mount!

That's three minutes gone in the round. turner stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. turner wants to clinch up but Butler keeps it at a distance. turner wants to clinch up but Butler keeps it at a distance. No luck for turner with that takedown attempt. Nathan Butler has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of tyler turner. Nice takedown defense from Butler. No joy for turner on that attempt. turner scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. tyler turner has got the better of the ground game so far. Butler throws turner to one side and escapes! turner shoots and misses and Butler counters with an outside leg kick.
Butler shoots in and bounces turner off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Butler trying to control the position from guard on top but turner is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Butler cracks turner with a solid left hand. Butler trying to control the position from guard on top but turner is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. turner manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Nathan Butler will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Nathan Butler's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
turner gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Butler counters with a single leg into guard. turner didn't expect that. Butler has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of turner is proving hard to escape from. turner is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. turner is adopting a defensive guard. turner is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Butler looking to sit in guard and control but turner gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. turner decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. turner looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Butler is fending him off so far but turner persists. Nope, Butler circles away and we're back to standing. A nice combination there by Butler.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Butler slaps away a takedown attempt from turner, before circling back to the center of the mat. Nathan Butler has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of tyler turner. turner decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Butler is looking to control turner's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Butler avoid being mounted? turner is working for a submission of some sort.

That's three minutes gone in the round. turner wants to lay and pray for a moment but Butler keeps working. Butler tries to bench press turner off him but turner keeps the position. Butler regains half guard. Butler punching from the bottom.
turner is looking to pass Butler's guard but actually Butler recovers to full guard. turner trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. turner stopping the sweep attempt from Butler.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Butler's guard. turner is thwarting Butler's attempts to control the position. Butler tries to get to full guard but turner has control of the leg.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to tyler turner. Well turner has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
