The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maxwell throws a right and a left that Daytona avoids nicely.

Maxwell will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Maxwell misses with a two punch combination.
Daytona showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Maxwell.
Maxwell tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Daytona slips a jab and a cross from Maxwell.
Tremendous Maxwell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Maxwell misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Maxwell throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Maxwell looks gassed!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Daytona avoids the head kick by Maxwell.
Maxwell ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Daytona moves away.

Daytona decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
