Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Roy Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adrian DeJesus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Parker comes into the arena with - blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Roy Parker! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Adrian DeJesus! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Mauricio Rocha and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Parker misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Parker fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. DeJesus stuffs the takedown attempt from Parker. Parker gets slowly back to his feet. DeJesus lands a with a good body shot. DeJesus blocks a leg kick. This fight brought to you by 5M nutrition - it's mmmmm tasty. Nice jab by DeJesus. DeJesus bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. DeJesus scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Parker to see if he's OK. DeJesus cracks Parker with a big right hand but Parker just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! DeJesus scores with a couple of short elbows. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. DeJesus working the ground and pound. DeJesus goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Parker has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for DeJesus but great work by Parker. DeJesus is not content to let Parker control the position. DeJesus gets back to half guard. DeJesus wants to get back to full guard.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. DeJesus looking for a takedown here - he's got it. DeJesus looks gassed! DeJesus throws a strike but Parker rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Parker is pushing down on DeJesus's leg trying to pass to half guard. DeJesus is fighting to maintain full guard but Parker has managed to sneak the leg through. Parker not landing any meaningful shots this time. DeJesus is looking to improve his position.
Parker is working for a kimura but DeJesus is defending it quite comfortably.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Parker prevents DeJesus from improving his position. DeJesus regains full guard. Nicely done. DeJesus manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Parker manages to get himself to full guard.

DeJesus thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. DeJesus must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. DeJesus in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. DeJesus got a little sloppy there for a moment and Parker has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, DeJesus has managed to get both his arms back between Parker's legs - danger averted.
That's three minutes gone in the round. DeJesus trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Parker looking for a guillotine here but DeJesus defends easily.
DeJesus looking to pass the guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as DeJesus accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. DeJesus postures up and lands a big shot to Parker's brow. DeJesus lands a couple of decent looking shots. Parker has momentary wrist control but DeJesus slips an elbow through the middle. DeJesus scoring with punches to the head and body. Parker looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
DeJesus postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Parker is looking for a triangle but DeJesus pushes his legs off easily.

DeJesus is in close to Parker's body, working some short punches and elbows. Parker tries to land a sweep but no joy. DeJesus with a nice head shot there. DeJesus thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. DeJesus is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. DeJesus tries to free his leg and advance position but Parker is retaining full guard. DeJesus is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. DeJesus lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. DeJesus throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Parker works some decent striking defense from the bottom. DeJesus is working Parker over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. DeJesus with a flurry of punches that miss. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Adrian DeJesus dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
DeJesus shoots in for a takedown but Parker shows good takedown defense. Parker looking for a takedown here - he's got it. DeJesus bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Parker's guard. DeJesus is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Parker has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. DeJesus is looking to defend but Parker has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for DeJesus! Parker pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, DeJesus taps out and this one is all over!
