Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Pat Marr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jarvis Chapman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pat Marr is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jarvis Chapman! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Ian Loll and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Marr gets a takedown into half guard. Marr looks to land a strike but Chapman avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Marr looking to pass the guard. Chapman utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Marr has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Marr is working Chapman over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Chapman bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Marr's guard. Marr looking to hit a scissor sweep but Chapman is one step ahead there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chapman pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Marr is keeping the position for now. Marr looking for a guillotine here but Chapman defends easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Marr looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Chapman puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Marr has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Chapman is working away from the top position though.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Marr circles away from the clinch attempt.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Marr misses with a head shot. Marr landing punches. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Marr thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Marr trying to control but Chapman is having none of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Chapman wants to hold on but Marr pushes him away. Marr lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Chapman tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Marr tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Chapman swivels and escapes. Chapman walks into a straight right hand from Marr.
It looks like Jarvis Chapman has been cut. Chapman wants to clinch. Marr scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Marr not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Marr is looking to pass Chapman's guard but actually Chapman recovers to full guard. Marr postures up in Chapman's guard and throws a big left but Chapman blocks it. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chapman is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Marr passes Chapman's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Marr misses with a head shot. Chapman uses the momentum to regain guard. Marr stops Chapman from standing up. Chapman keeping full guard, as Marr tries to pass. Marr postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Marr trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Marr preventing the sweep. Marr wants to control from the top but Chapman keeps moving. Marr keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Chapman's head. That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Marr is trying desperately to improve position. Marr is squirming around, avoiding Chapman's attempts to control the action. Marr is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pat Marr dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Jarvis Chapman's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Chapman wants to clinch up but Marr keeps it at a distance. Marr moves into the clinch. Chapman has Marr pressed against the cage.

Nice defenses there by Chapman. Chapman bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Chapman walks into a left hand. Marr lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Chapman circles away quickly and effectively. Marr paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Chapman fails with an attempt to clinch.
Chapman tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Marr connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Chapman uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Marr. Chapman tries to clinch up enabling Marr to counter with a crisp jab. Chapman tries to clinch but Marr moves away and Marr counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Chapman! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Chapman takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Marr unloads with some shots from mount but Chapman bucks and avoids them well.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Marr misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Marr trying to control but Chapman is working from the bottom.
And that's the end of the fight! Pat Marr showed his dominance in that final round. Well Marr has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
