Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Seymour Butts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, James Johnson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Seymour Butts! The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Reed Andrews and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Butts swats away the attempt to clinch by Johnson. Johnson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Butts swats him away and circles back towards the center. Butts throws a hook but Johnson avoids it easily. Johnson tries to clinch up but Butts circles away and keeps his distance. Butts shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Johnson is trying to keep Butts in close.
Johnson wants to sweep but no luck. Butts throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Butts working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Johnson's head. Butts slips nicely into half guard. Butts throwing shots but Johnson is blocking nicely. Johnson could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Butts stalling. Butts slips a nice elbow through Johnson's hands, connecting with Johnson's forehead.
That's one minute gone in the round. Butts missing with the ground and pound from half guard. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Johnson keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Butts looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Johnson with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Johnson moves into full guard.

Butts wants to pass the guard but Johnson is keeping the position. Johnson keeping moving, preventing Butts from controlling successfully. Butts slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Butts landing with the ground and pound. Butts has gone for a leg lock! Johnson slips out almost immediately though and dives into Butts's guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Butts can do anything to dispel that myth. Butts working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Johnson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Johnson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Johnson working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Butts wants to sweep here but Johnson controlling him for the moment. Johnson thows a big elbow that misses. Johnson throws a strike but Butts rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Butts loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Johnson looking for a sweep. Not yet Johnson, not yet. Johnson wants to hit a switch here but Butts passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Johnson there! Butts landing strikes from the mount. Johnson is breathing heavily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Johnson taking shots to the head. Butts lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. This has been an exciting period of action! Butts lands a big elbow. Butts punishing his opponent with strikes. Butts sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Butts landing strikes from the mount. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Butts cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Butts is landing with some decent strikes but Johnson is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Butts lands with some strikes. Butts working away from the top, dropping strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Seymour Butts dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Butts closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Butts happy to just control the position for now. Butts scoring with punches and elbows. Butts working the ground and pound. Butts looks up at the clock and then as Johnson takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Butts smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Butts landing strikes. Butts has knee on belly and moves into mount. Butts is in the full mount, landing strikes. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! The referee warns Johnson that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Johnson tries to lock up and control but Butts gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Butts controlling his opponent. Butts in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Butts lands with some strikes. Butts scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Butts looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Butts cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
This has been an exciting period of action! BOOM! Butts connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Butts pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Butts postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Johnson in real trouble here! The ref calls for Johnson to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:03 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Seymour Butts!
