Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Fung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jacque Strope (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fung comes to the cage accompanied by Till I Collapse. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jacque Strope!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Robert Douchet and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fung looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Strope is fending him off so far but Fung persists. Nope, Strope circles away and we're back to standing.

Fung shoots in for a takedown but Strope shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Strope is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Fung fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
A decent looking cross lands there for Strope.
Nice uppercut lands for Strope. That snapped Fung's head back.

That was a close round but I would say that Ryan Fung will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Ryan Fung is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Fung closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Fung lands in his opponent's guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Strope throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Fung.
Strope swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Strope lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Strope.

Fung avoids a punch combination nicely.
Fung shoots for a double leg takedown but Strope sprawls well. He's pushed Fung's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jacque Strope showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Strope leaves Fung with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Strope rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Fung moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Fung takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Strope lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Strope lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Strope throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

And that's the end of the fight!
Jacque Strope comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Strope has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
