Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Trevor Gratis and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
St George lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Hardy feints and then cracks St George's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow St George down.
Hardy dives in and grabs St George's left leg, looking for a takedown. St George pushes down on Hardy's head and hops out.
Hardy fails in his attempt to clinch.
St George moves out of range of the body kick from Hardy.
St George throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Nice body kick there by St George.
Hardy looks gassed!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
St George closes the distance and clinches.
Hardy wants to get back to striking at distance but St George won't allow it.
St George has Hardy pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. St George pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Hardy tumbling to the mat - St George dives into Hardy's guard.
St George content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

St George seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
St George seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Hardy does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Hardy is not content to let St George control the position.

St George takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Pierre St George just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Hardy wants to clinch
and St George holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
St George lands a takedown into guard.
Hardy is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

St George won't allow Hardy to sweep him here.
St George missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
St George passes into half guard.
Hardy throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
St George wants to work for an arm triangle but Hardy is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Hardy is trying to control but can't.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hardy is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
St George throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Hardy scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Dan Hardy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hardy throws a lazy head kick
and St George counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Hardy fails to pull guard.
Hardy tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. St George just stands there and leans against the cage.
Pierre St George has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dan Hardy.
Hardy avoiding damage as St George throws knees to the body.
Hardy fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Hardy goes for a takedown in the clinch but St George prevents it.
St George jumps guard.
St George is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
