Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Steve Learmont (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robin Kidd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Learmont comes to the cage accompanied by Snoop Dogg and Young Jeezy - Wannabes. Kidd is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Onslaught 2. Robin Kidd has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Steve Learmont's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Radbod Blank and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Kidd. No joy for Learmont on that attempt.
Kidd moves in looking to clinch but Learmont pushes him off.
Kidd tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Learmont paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Kidd pushes Learmont up against the cage in a clinch.
Learmont pulls guard successfully.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Kidd wants to stand but Learmont has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Learmont is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kidd gets to his feet - Learmont follows without any prompting.
Kidd stuffs the takedown attempt from Learmont. Learmont gets slowly back to his feet.

The fight stays on the outside here - Kidd looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Learmont is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kidd is trying to get back to his feet.

Learmont wants to control but Kidd is keeping him busy.
Kidd tries to escape but Learmont is in control.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Kidd looks to clinch
so Learmont counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Kidd is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Learmont is controlling him.
Kidd is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Learmont postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Kidd is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Learmont, into his guard.
Learmont manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Kidd wants to get back to his feet.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Learmont throws some wild stikes that Kidd manages to avoid easily.
Learmont lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Learmont is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Kidd can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Kidd tries to buck Learmont off so he can stand up but Learmont has got his back now - this could be big trouble! He's slapped on a rear naked choke that looks really tight! Kidd falls backwards, slamming Learmont to the mat but Learmont holds on tight! Kidd is forced to tap and this one is all over!
