Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Horiato Hayato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pankration Master (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Horiato Hayato! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pankration Master! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Daniel Franklin and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hayato tries to close the distance and clinch but Master swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Master forces Hayato back against the cage and clinches. Hayato tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Master smiles and moves away.
Hayato misses with a wild body shot. Hayato closes the distance and clinches up with Master, looking for a takedown. Hayato pushes Master against the cage but Master circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Master drives through with a takedown into guard. Hayato is looking to stand up but Master isn't so interested in that idea. Hayato being controlled here, momentarily. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Hayato is on top in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Master is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Master is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Hayato missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Hayato preventing the sweep. That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Master avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Master can do anything to dispel that myth. Hayato thows a big elbow that misses. Hayato tries to stand but Master is controlling from the bottom. Hayato throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Master works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Master. Hayato shoots and misses and Master counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Master. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Horiato Hayato. That's going to take a lot out of him. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Master accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Master prevents Hayato from getting back to his feet. Hayato is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hayato tries to land a sweep but no joy. Master looks gassed! Hayato pushes Master off and scrambles back to his feet.

Master closes this distance looking for a takedown but Hayato circles away. Master avoids a punch combination nicely.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Sloppy strikes there by Hayato. Hayato looks up at the clock and then as Master takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Hayato smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Hayato lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Master down.
Hayato has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Master is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Master shoots for a takedown but Hayato saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Hayato throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Hayato changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Master looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Hayato thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hayato scoring with punches from side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Horiato Hayato dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Hayato shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Hayato showed some decent athleticism there. Hayato seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Master is breathing heavily. Hayato is pressing down on Master's thigh, looking to free his foot. Master is holding on for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Master taking some punishment here, with Hayato in his half guard. Hayato looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Hayato not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Master has hold of Hayato's hands but Hayato slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Master trying to control but Hayato postures up.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Master is refusing to be controlled, as Hayato sits in half guard. Hayato seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Hayato lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Master trying to control here.
Hayato working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Hayato thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Hayato winds up and cracks Master with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Hayato stands up and beckons Master to join him on the feet. Hayato misses with a series of wild punches.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Hayato tries to score a power double leg takedown but Master sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hayato somewhat. Hayato misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Hayato gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Master to score an easy takedown into full guard. Hayato has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Hayato has a closed guard, preventing Master from standing up. Hayato has control of Master's left arm, preventing Master from doing any damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Horiato Hayato dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Hayato looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Master is fending him off so far but Hayato persists. Nope, Master circles away and we're back to standing. Hayato tries to clinch but Master is having none of it. Master showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Hayato.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Master misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Hayato tries to clinch but Master is having none of it. Hayato shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Hayato showed some decent athleticism there. Master is defending against the submission attempts here by Hayato.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Hayato looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Master with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Hayato thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Master's head. Hayato stands up and beckons Master to join him on the feet. Hayato fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Master, pushing him back against the cage. Hayato tightens his grip and picks Master up, before dumping him to the ground. Master manages to land in guard. Hayato chips away with some ground and pound. Hayato passes easily into side control. Nice work. Hayato connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Master some visible discomfort.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Check out the look on Hayato's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Hayato tries for a kimura but Master is defending well. Hayato landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Master tries to buck Hayato off but Hayato is having none of it. Master tries to contro but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad. Hayato fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Pankration Master has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Horiato Hayato is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Hayato blocks Master's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
And that's the end of the fight! Horiato Hayato showed his dominance in that final round. Well Hayato has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
