Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Xavier Rapp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maxim Kislyak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rapp kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is How bout you. Kislyak has chosen Kasabian - Underdog as his entrance music. Xavier Rapp has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kislyak throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Kislyak throws a head kick but Rapp moves out of range.
Rapp moves out of range of the body kick.
Kislyak throws a quick inside leg kick.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kislyak.

Rapp gets caught flat footed, as Kislyak shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Kislyak slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Kislyak tries to advance to mount but Rapp denies him.

Kislyak is trying to get an arm triangle but Rapp is defending well.
Rapp prevents Kislyak from improving position.
Rapp dodges the ground and pound from Kislyak.

Kislyak working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Kislyak thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Kislyak shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Rapp is trying to defend but Kislyak finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Kislyak is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Rapp wants to get back to his feet.
Kislyak is looking to stall here but Rapp recovers full guard.

Kislyak is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Kislyak wants to control from the top but Rapp keeps moving.
Kislyak sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Rapp's guard.
Rapp tries to kick Kislyak off in order to stand up. Kislyak Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.

Kislyak is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Rapp is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Kislyak is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Rapp has escaped the position, nice work there.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Kislyak thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
You can see the frustration on Rapp's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Maxim Kislyak showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kislyak is defended easily by Rapp.
Rapp sizes up Kislyak with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Rapp checks a leg kick.
Kislyak shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Rapp pinned against the cage. Rapp gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nice sprawl there from Rapp as Kislyak shoots in.
Xavier Rapp has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Maxim Kislyak.
Kislyak takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Kislyak tries to bum rush Rapp with a series of wild strikes but Rapp uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Kislyak throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Kislyak misses with a body kick.
Rapp avoids the head kick by Kislyak.
Kislyak is trying hard to land a takedown here. Rapp sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
A jab from Rapp does it's job there.
Kislyak shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Rapp scores with the left hand. Kislyak knows he should have avoided that one.
Kislyak misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Rapp shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Kislyak's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kislyak looking for a guillotine here but Rapp defends easily.
Rapp won't allow Kislyak to sweep him here.
Rapp wants to pass the guard but Kislyak is keeping the position.

Kislyak has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Rapp can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Rapp has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Kislyak is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Rapp is aware though and is defending well.
Xavier Rapp has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Kislyak looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Kislyak keeping moving, preventing Rapp from controlling successfully.
Maxim Kislyak is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Kislyak tries for a takedown but Rapp circles away easily

and Rapp moves into the clinch.
A right hook to the body lands for Rapp.
Rapp lands a body shot in the clinch.
A right hand to the body from Rapp.
Good body shot from Rapp.
Rapp scores with a hook to the body.

Rapp escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kislyak fails with the takedown.
Rapp throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Kislyak counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Kislyak in particular looking to stall.

And that's the end of the fight!
Xavier Rapp showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Kislyak has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
