Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tin Mann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Graveston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ryan Graveston will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tin Mann! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ryan Graveston! The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Winston Howard and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mann scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Mann tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Mann has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Graveston is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mann wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Graveston, who protects the arm well. Mann is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Graveston has escaped the position, nice work there. Graveston bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet! Mann closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Mann is trying to get an arm triangle but Graveston is defending well. Graveston is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Mann asserts his dominance and retains side control. Mann thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Mann is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Graveston is pushing Mann's head away, looking to escape. Mann manages to hold on to the position though. Mann working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Graveston is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Mann is controlling him well. Graveston sneaks out the side door and pushes Mann away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Graveston looks to score with a jab to the body but Mann is just out of range. Mann throws a series of punches but Graveston avoids them all with ease. Mann takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Mann ducks under a wild hook from Graveston. Graveston tries for a takedown but Mann circles away easily and Mann decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Graveston's guard. Graveston looking for a guillotine here but Mann defends easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Graveston is looking to stand up but Mann isn't so interested in that idea. Mann pushing down on Graveston's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Mann prevents Graveston from standing back up.
Mann is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Graveston has managed to free his arm - good work. Graveston pushes Mann off and gets back to his feet. Good shot there by Graveston. Graveston doesn't succeed with the takedown so Mann counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Mann forces his way into half guard. Graveston wants to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mann is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Graveston is just riding it out for now. Mann eventually gives up the hold. Graveston is trying to stand.
Graveston is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Mann looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Graveston looks like he's trying to stand up.
Mann is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Graveston tries to kick Mann off but Mann keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Graveston pushes Mann off and gets back to his feet. Graveston throws a jab when Mann was well out of range. Graveston throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Mann on the side of the head. Graveston moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Mann lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Nice body punch from Graveston. Mann gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Graveston to score an easy takedown into full guard. Mann escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Graveston gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Graveston decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Tin Mann will probably get the nod. That's time! Mann's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Graveston throws the left hand but Mann avoids the punch easily. Mann avoids the body shot from Graveston.
Mann throws out a powerful jab. Mann closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Mann in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Graveston tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Mann!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:39 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Tin Mann!
