Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Summer Carpenter and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slade shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Morrison.
Morrison wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Slade, who protects the arm well.
Slade sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Slade trying to control but Morrison postures up.

Slade looking to hit a scissor sweep but Morrison is one step ahead there.
Morrison drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Morrison jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Morrison working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Slade doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Slade manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Slade takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Morrison closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Morrison lands in his opponent's guard.
