Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Deal Damatter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Jason Miller was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Deal Damatter! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jason Miller! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Wesley Smith and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Miller misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Damatter closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Miller is refusing to be controlled, as Damatter sits in half guard. Damatter is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Miller sees it coming and defends easily. Miller is trying to get back to full guard. Damatter is figuring out what he wants to do next. Miller moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Damatter wants to control from the top but Miller keeps moving. Miller is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
That's one minute gone in the round. Damatter is stalling in the full guard. Miller controls Damatter momentarily but Damatter frees himself. Damatter trying to control the position from guard on top but Miller is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Damatter stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Miller swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Miller looking to control.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Damatter checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Miller wants to clinch up but Damatter keeps it at a distance. Damatter stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Damatter wants it to stay on the feet. Miller darts in and clinches Damatter up against the cage. Miller jumps guard but Damatter stands there with Miller around his waist. Miller gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Deal Damatter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jason Miller. Damatter will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Miller up against the cage. Damatter lands a body shot in the clinch.
Damatter decides to pull guard. Damatter has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Miller can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Miller trying to control but Damatter is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Damatter looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Miller would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Miller looks gassed! Damatter looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Miller trying to control the position from guard on top but Damatter is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Damatter controls Miller momentarily but Miller frees himself. Damatter has his foot on Miller's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Miller works his way back into a safe position though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Damatter is looking to sinch up a triangle. Miller throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Damatter's body to avoid the submission. Damatter has instead reached around Miller's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Damatter arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Deal Damatter!
