Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sakke Solmunen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricky Samboa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sakke Solmunen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ricky Samboa! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Frank Dennis and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Solmunen scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Solmunen is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Samboa is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Samboa regains half guard. Solmunen is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Samboa defends it well. Solmunen is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Samboa is just riding it out for now. Solmunen eventually gives up the hold. Solmunen is looking for a kimura here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Samboa is looking to improve his position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Solmunen seems to be working for a kimura but Samboa defends the submission attempt. Samboa wants to get back to full guard. Solmunen is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Samboa doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Solmunen. Solmunen is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Samboa is trying to stand.
Samboa is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Solmunen jumps into side control! Solmunen looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Samboa can't do much from the bottom here. What's Samboa going to do here then? He's in a bit of a pickle. Solmunen working away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Samboa is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Solmunen working away. Solmunen is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Samboa knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Solmunen has control of an arm but Samboa manages to advance to Solmunen's back! Solmunen has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Samboa. Solmunen is in bad spot here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Samboa trying to control momentarily.
Solmunen tries to break free.
Samboa looking to break Solmunen's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Solmunen remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Samboa will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! Solmunen prevents Samboa from getting a body triangle. Solmunen tries to escape the position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Samboa trying to control. Solmunen rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sakke Solmunen dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Samboa feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Samboa wants to control from the top but Solmunen keeps moving. Solmunen working for a triangle but Samboa defends it easily.
Samboa drops back looking for a leg! Solmunen is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Solmunen manages to kick Samboa off! Samboa jumps back into Solmunen's guard. Solmunen lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Samboa! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Samboa is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Samboa has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Samboa wants to get back to his feet. Samboa rolls, trying to escape but Solmunen keeps control of the position.
Samboa is trying to defend against the choke here but Solmunen has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Solmunen Tightens the hold and Samboa taps out furiously! Solmunen displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:04 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Sakke Solmunen!
