Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are James Glass, Chris Edwards and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Palahares shoots in but Bin Laden avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Bin Laden lands a body shot.
Horrible takedown by Palahares or perhaps it was just good defense by Bin Laden which made him look bad.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Bin Laden.
Bin Laden lands a nice forearm strike.
Palahares prevents Bin Laden from moving into mount.
Palahares tries to buck Bin Laden off but Bin Laden is having none of it.
Bin Laden is staying tight to Palahares's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Palahares struggling a bit here.
The referee asks Bin Laden politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Bin Laden prefers to stall for the moment though.

Bin Laden trying to control the action but Palahares is working from the bottom.
Palahares tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Bin Laden stands up and beckons Palahares to his feet.
Bin Laden shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Palahares's guard.
Bin Laden stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Palahares swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Bin Laden knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Palahares on the ground.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
