A fine choice. Franklin is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Bring Da Ruckus. John Franklin has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Franklin shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Ata sprawls well. Ata wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Franklin gets slowly back to his feet.

Franklin is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Ata is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Ata has escaped and now he's on top!

John Franklin's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Franklin jumps guard but Ata stands there with Franklin around his waist. Franklin gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at John Franklin's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
