The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bong throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Champion was covering up waiting for the punch and Bong finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Champion looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
