Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Richard Clark and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joonatan swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Joonatan wants to clinch.
Joonatan is looking to clinch.
Joonatan doesn't manage to clinch there - Makaay circles away.
Makaay instigates a clinch.
Makaay prevents a takedown attempt there.
Joonatan is trying to break free.
Joonatan jumps guard but Makaay stands there with Joonatan around his waist. Joonatan gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Makaay blocks the elbow strike.
Makaay prevents the takedown attempt.
Steven Makaay has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jorma Joonatan.
Joonatan manages to break the clinch.
Joonatan gets caught flat footed, as Makaay shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Makaay makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Makaay scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Makaay is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Makaay passes easily into side control. Nice work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Makaay tries for a kimura but Joonatan is defending well.
Makaay is working to tighten is grip on Joonatan's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Joonatan has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Makaay is really squeezing tight and eventually Joonatan passes out! Makaay breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
