The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Junior has a takedown stuffed.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Junior got a little sloppy there for a moment and Podolski has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Junior has managed to get both his arms back between Podolski's legs - danger averted.

Podolski rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Junior moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Podolski scores with a one two! Junior had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Podolski moves in looking to clinch but Junior pushes him off.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

That was a close second round but I would say that Bobby Junior will probably get the nod.

Podolski shoots in looking for a takedown. Junior tries to sprawl out of it but Podolski keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Junior manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
