Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ruffus Switch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hatake Pertti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Switch comes to the cage accompanied by Jungle Boogie. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Ruffus Switch! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Hatake Pertti! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Donald Grub and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Switch looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Switch not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Switch is looking for a kimura here.
Switch tries to pass to full mount but Pertti defends it. Switch is just content to waste time from the top position. Pertti takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Switch drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Switch jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Switch has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Switch drops back for a leg! Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Switch moves forwards but Pertti connects with a nice, crisp jab. Pertti fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Switch manages to avoid it. Switch looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Pertti! Switch takes Pertti's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Pertti is in trouble. Switch is not going to allow Pertti to sit and survive in this position. Switch will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Switch is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Pertti defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. Switch is breathing heavily. Pertti is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Switch gets his way!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Switch patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here?
That's two minutes gone in the round. Switch is trying to stick to Pertti's back but Pertti is turning into Switch. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Switch's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Pertti. Pertti trying to control but Switch is working from the bottom. Switch looking for a sweep. Not yet Switch, not yet. Switch is pulling down on Pertti's head. It's preventing any offense from Pertti, at least for the moment. Pertti looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Switch looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Switch has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Pertti can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Switch has an active guard here but Pertti has managed to pass into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Switch gets back to full guard.

Pertti must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Switch isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Pertti stacks Switch on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Pertti! Pertti decides to stand back up. Pertti steps back and let's Switch get back to his feet. Hatake Pertti seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A left lands for Pertti. Pertti throws a hook but Switch avoids it easily. Pertti rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Switch moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Switch shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Switch tries to free his leg and advance position but Pertti is retaining full guard. Switch trying to control but Pertti is working from the bottom. Switch pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Pertti is keeping the position for now. Switch is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Switch stands up from guard. Let's bang! Switch scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Switch is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Pertti knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ruffus Switch dominated that round. That's time! Switch's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Good leg kick by Switch there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Pertti throws a right and a left that Switch avoids nicely. Switch moves forwards but Pertti connects with a nice, crisp jab. A big left from Pertti misses. Switch closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Pertti to the mat! Pertti manages to get full guard. Switch passes into half guard. Pertti is trying to stand.
Switch seems to be working for a kimura but Pertti defends the submission attempt. Switch is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Pertti keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Switch is working for a kimura but Pertti is defending it quite comfortably.
Pertti wants to control but Switch is keeping busy and won't allow it. Switch sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Pertti defending well though. Switch trying to control the action but Pertti is working from the bottom.

Pertti gets back to half guard. Switch not landing any meaningful shots this time. Switch has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Switch fails to move to back control. Switch moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Pertti has worked his arm free - good work by Pertti!

It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Switch has knee on belly and moves into mount. Pertti gets back to half guard. Switch works his foot free and advances to mount. Pertti stops Switch from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ruffus Switch dominated that second round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Pertti throws a series of punches but Switch moves out of range. Switch scores a takedown into full mount! Switch throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Switch working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Pertti turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Switch off and cradles Pertti's limp body as Switch celebrates with his corner.
