The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
padilha fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
McAferty misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
James McAferty seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
padilha moves out of range as McAferty throws a body kick.
padilha shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
It looks like padilha is going to stand back up.
McAferty wants to improve his position but padilha is controlling well.
