Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Paul McBride (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew Goodfellow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McBride comes to the cage accompanied by For whom the bell tolls. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Paul McBride! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Andrew Goodfellow! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Steve Smith and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McBride avoids a punch combination nicely.
McBride throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
It looks like Andrew Goodfellow has been cut. Goodfellow throws a hook to the side of McBride's head but McBride sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. McBride ducks under a wild hook from Goodfellow. Goodfellow misses with a straight left. Goodfellow rushes McBride and presses him up against the cage. McBride tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Goodfellow works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
A short right from Goodfellow on the inside. Nice body punch from Goodfellow. McBride wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Goodfellow lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Goodfellow breaks the clinch.
Goodfellow looks to throw the jab but McBride is out of range. Goodfellow changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. A lazy left from Goodfellow finds it's target. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! McBride uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Goodfellow.
Goodfellow lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Goodfellow misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Goodfellow connects with a single shot there. McBride changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Goodfellow tries to avoid it but McBride manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Goodfellow to the ground. Goodfellow escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. A slow jab from Goodfellow misses its intended target. McBride walks into a left hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Goodfellow lands with an overhand left. McBride is breathing heavily. Goodfellow lands a left and a right that send McBride crashing to the mat, dazed. Goodfellow thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
McBride is rocked! McBride looks up at the clock. Bad move! Goodfellow lands a right hand from hell, dropping McBride. Goodfellow pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Andrew Goodfellow!
