Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Brandon Couture (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Couture kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Mama said knock you out. Jackson has chosen Michael Jackson and Too Many DJs - Rock with you as his entrance music. Michael Jackson told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Patrick Alders and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson shoots for a takedown but Couture saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Jackson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Couture swivels and escapes.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Couture.
Jackson tries to buck Couture off but Couture is having none of it.
Couture has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Michael Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jackson tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Jackson is trying desperately to land a takedown but Couture is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Jackson.

Couture manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Jackson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Couture walks away with a smile on his face. Jackson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

and Couture makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
A left and a right from Couture both land. Nice combination.

and Jackson takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Michael Jackson's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
