Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between brick wall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Coleman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). brick wall has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, brick wall! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mark Coleman! The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Lou da Vinci and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! wall fails with the takedown. Coleman misses with an attempted mid kick.
Coleman moves into the clinch. wall tries to pull guard but Coleman holds him up against the ropes and eventually wall drops back down to his feet.
Coleman wants to break the clinch but can't.
wall tries to pull guard but Coleman won't allow it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for brick wall. That's going to take a lot out of him. Coleman is trying to break free. Coleman throws a blind hook that connects with the side of walls head. Coleman lands with a left to the head. wall tries to pull guard but Coleman won't allow it.
wall decides to pull guard. Coleman won't allow wall to get back to his feet. wall manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Horrible takedown by wall or perhaps it was just good defense by Coleman which made him look bad. wall closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Coleman to the mat! Coleman manages to get full guard. wall is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. wall wants to get up but he can't break Coleman's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Coleman wants to sweep here but wall controlling him for the moment. wall is fighting to break Coleman's control of his arms but Coleman is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. wall trying to stand up but can't free himself from Coleman's guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Coleman can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Coleman pulls wall in close to his closed guard and prevents wall from doing any damage or advancing position. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Coleman is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. wall has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Coleman is proving hard to escape from.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Coleman clobbers wall with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
It looks like brick wall has been cut. Coleman decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Coleman with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Coleman wants to control but wall is keeping him busy. wall looks like he's trying to stand up.
Coleman tries to stand and escape but wall is controlling the position. Coleman is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. wall is staying active underneath Coleman, who seems content to just control the action from this position. wall is trying to stand.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Coleman looks to land a body kick but wall moved away. wall showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Coleman.
Coleman punishes wall's body with a nice straight punch. wall tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Coleman swivels and escapes. Coleman gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows wall to score an easy takedown into full guard. wall tries to stand but Coleman is controlling from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mark Coleman dominated that round. The cut man is working on brick wall's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
wall moves away from the strike by Coleman. wall with a lazy takedown attempt and Coleman decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in wall's guard. wall is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Coleman trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. wall wants to stand up but Coleman is controlling him. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Coleman stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. wall swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Coleman has taken the fight to the clinch.
wall keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Coleman's efforts to push away. wall tries to pull guard but Coleman won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Coleman breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Coleman tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but wall paws at him with a jab and circles away. Coleman throws a jab but it's blocked by wall. wall shoots in for a takedown but Coleman shows good takedown defense. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for brick wall. That's going to take a lot out of him. Coleman with a poor takedown and wall counters with a single leg into guard. Coleman didn't expect that. wall trying to stand up but can't free himself from Coleman's guard. wall wants to stand and escape but instead Coleman has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Coleman landing with the ground and pound. wall has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Coleman off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Coleman lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A slow jab from Coleman misses its intended target. wall shoots and misses and Coleman counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. wall blocks the body kick.
brick wall is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Coleman takes a swing at wall's ribcage but misses. Coleman tries to bum rush wall with a series of wild strikes but wall uses good footwork to avoid the assault. wall looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Coleman is fending him off so far but wall persists. Nope, Coleman circles away and we're back to standing. wall keeps the fight on the outside. wall showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Coleman.
Coleman is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. wall fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Coleman displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Nice sprawl there from Coleman as wall shoots in. Coleman throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Coleman gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows wall to score an easy takedown into full guard. wall stands up and waves to Coleman to follow him. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Mark Coleman will probably get the nod - 10:9. The cut man is working on brick wall's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
wall has his takedown stuffed and Coleman counters with a one-two to the body. Coleman misses with a few strikes there.
wall scores a takedown into full mount! Coleman working to try and regain half guard.
wall is standing up, even though he is in mount. wall fails with the takedown and Coleman counters with a stiff right hand. Coleman changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. wall looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Coleman wants to stand but wall has him controlled and pulls him back into his guard. brick wall overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Both fighters are breathing heavily. wall is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Coleman is controlling him. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Coleman seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Coleman trying to control but wall is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Coleman won't allow wall to get back to his feet. wall might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Coleman throws a combination that misses and wall counters with a nice double leg into half guard. wall stands up out of the half guard. Coleman looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. wall is trying to stand back up but Coleman is controlling him
That's four minutes gone in the round. Coleman is looking to advance position but wall won't allow it.
And that's the end of the fight! brick wall showed his dominance in that final round. I think Coleman has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
