Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ewan MacAndrew (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Martti Esko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). MacAndrew comes to the cage accompanied by Bad Moon Rising by CCR. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Ewan MacAndrew!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Martti Esko!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Steven Brown and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
MacAndrew pulls out of a head kick attempt.
MacAndrew closes the distance and clinches.
MacAndrew breaks the clinch.
MacAndrew showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Esko.
Esko shoots in for a double leg but MacAndrew sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Esko fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with MacAndrew, pushing him back against the cage.
MacAndrew gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Esko is trying to maintain the position but MacAndrew is very close to passing his half guard.
Esko is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but MacAndrew pulls his head out easily.
Esko tries to get to full guard but MacAndrew has control of the leg.
MacAndrew working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
MacAndrew is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Esko is just riding it out for now. MacAndrew eventually gives up the hold.
Esko slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
That's one minute gone in the round.
MacAndrew stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Esko swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Esko looking for a sweep. Not yet Esko, not yet.
Esko has his foot on MacAndrew's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. MacAndrew works his way back into a safe position though.
MacAndrew scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
MacAndrew makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
MacAndrew gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
MacAndrew closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - MacAndrew lands in his opponent's guard.
Esko working for a triangle but MacAndrew defends it easily.
Esko looks gassed!
MacAndrew not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
MacAndrew trying to control the position from guard on top but Esko is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
MacAndrew pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Esko is keeping the position for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Esko has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but MacAndrew can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
MacAndrew stands and throws Esko's legs to the side, diving into side control.
MacAndrew decides to stand back up. MacAndrew steps back and let's Esko get back to his feet.
Esko clinches.
MacAndrew missing with knees to the body.
Esko pulls guard successfully.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Esko working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because MacAndrew has passed into half guard!
MacAndrew missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
MacAndrew prevents Esko from improving his position.

MacAndrew slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Esko is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! MacAndrew is tapping! Great win for Esko!
