Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jan Dauwers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Ching (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dauwers shoots in for a double leg but Ching sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Ching fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Ching goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Ching moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Dauwers avoids the head kick by Ching.
Ching misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Dauwers changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ching tries to avoid it but Dauwers manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ching to the ground. Ching escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Ching throws a head kick but Dauwers moves out of range.
Ching throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Dauwers wants to clinch.
Ching throws a sloppy head kick and Dauwers moves out of range easily.
Ching pivots, looking for a leg kick but Dauwers is out of range and Ching settles back down.

Dauwers has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Dauwers shoots in looking for a takedown. Ching tries to sprawl out of it but Dauwers keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ching manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Ching displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Dauwers.

Dauwers steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Ching. That one must have hurt.
Dauwers misses with a takedown attempt - Ching sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Ching connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Dauwers shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ching as he jumps to the side.
