Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Corey Ellington (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gabriel Payton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Corey Ellington! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Gabriel Payton! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Colin Fotheringham and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Payton shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Ellington shoots in for a takedown but Payton shows good takedown defense. Ellington gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily so Payton counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Payton stops Ellington from standing up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Payton looking to pass the guard. Payton won't allow Ellington to sweep him here. Ellington keeping moving, preventing Payton from controlling successfully. Payton gets to his feet - Ellington follows without any prompting. Payton avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Ellington tries for a takedown but Payton sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Corey Ellington. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ellington tries for a takedown but Payton circles away easily and Payton decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Ellington's guard.

Payton throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Ellington works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Ellington is pulling down on Payton's head to control his posture. Payton postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Ellington is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Payton, into his guard. Ellington pushing down on Payton's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Payton is looking to get back to full guard here but Ellington has managed to pass to side control instead. Ellington really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Payton tries to reverse the position but Ellington maintains control. Ellington controlling the position easily from mount. Payton is looking to improve his position but Ellington isn't that keen on the idea. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Ellington can do anything to dispel that myth. Payton is just holding on here. Ellington manages to take his back.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Payton trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble. Payton is trying to stand back up. Payton looks gassed! Ellington has the hooks in. Payton is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. A bit of a pause in the action here. Ellington controlling the positon. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Payton trying to control the action but Ellington just sinks the hooks in.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Ellington wants to control but Payton is keeping busy. Payton rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Payton misses with an attempted mid kick.
Payton gets the takedown into side control. Ellington is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Payton off and has taken his back! Ellington throwing lazy shots from the back mount that aren't doing any damage. Ellington controls the action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ellington shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Payton but Payton pushes him off and we're back to square one. Ellington throws a nice inside leg kick. Payton doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Danga de danga de dang - Ellington scores with a four punch combination! Payton doesn't manage to clinch there - Ellington circles away.
Corey Ellington is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Ellington throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Payton closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ellington circles away. Ellington tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Ellington is looking to stand up but Payton isn't so interested in that idea. Payton wants to control from the top but Ellington keeps moving.

Ellington is looking to clinch. Payton wants to clinch but Ellington slips to the side and Ellington counters by clinching up. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Payton is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Ellington is keeping busy. Ellington is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Payton pulls him back up using the underhooks. Nice body punch from Ellington. Payton tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Ellington smiles and moves away.

Gabriel Payton showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Ellington is trying to stand. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Payton content just to control the position here. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Ellington wants to control but Payton is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Payton goes for an armbar but Ellington turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Ellington. Ellington controlling from the top position. Payton is trying to control the position but Ellington postures up. Payton working a defensive guard but Ellington manages to pass into side control anyway.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Ellington working the ground and pound but Payton is defending the strikes. Payton managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Ellington.
Ellington happy to just control the position for now. Ellington decides to stand back up. Ellington steps back and let's Payton get back to his feet. Payton comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Ellington moves into the clinch successfully.
Ellington breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Payton shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Payton is looking to work some ground and pound but Ellington has wrist control. Payton pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Ellington is keeping the position for now. Payton pushes down on Ellington's leg and manages to get into half guard. Payton scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Payton is tying to control. Ellington wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Payton trying to control the pace.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Payton is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Ellington is just riding it out for now. Payton eventually gives up the hold. Payton drops an elbow to the side of Ellington's head. Payton landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Payton is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
And that's the end of the fight! Gabriel Payton comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Payton winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
