Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Steve Pharaoh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Manningham Snapple!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Joseph Jones and Chad Campbell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pharaoh avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Pharaoh throws a leg kick which misses Snapple's front leg but catches the back leg as Snapple tries to avoid it.
Pharaoh tries to land a leg kick but Snapple saw it coming and moves away.
A solid leg kick lands there for Pharaoh.
Snapple fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Snapple on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Pharaoh. Pharaoh obviously looking to wear him down.
A clash of legs there as Snapple blocks the low kick.
Pharaoh tries for a takedown but Snapple sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Pharaoh checks a leg kick.
Pharaoh throws a head kick that misses.
Pharaoh ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

It looks like Manningham Snapple has been cut.

Snapple is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Pharaoh gets to his feet - Snapple follows without any prompting.
Pharaoh throws a head kick that half lands.

Snapple shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Pharaoh's guard.

Pharaoh working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Snapple doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Snapple manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Pharaoh is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Snapple is aware though and is defending well.

Pharaoh isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Snapple stacks Pharaoh on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Snapple!
Snapple scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Pharaoh to see if he's OK.

Snapple tries for a kimura but Pharaoh is defending well.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Pharaoh tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Snapple wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Pharaoh thumps Snapple with a low kick.
Manningham Snapple is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Pharaoh shoots in but Snapple avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Pharaoh is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Snapple can do to turn this around?
Pharaoh throws a front kick aimed at Snapple's knee but Snapple avoids it well.

Pharaoh is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Snapple is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Pharaoh is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Snapple has escaped the position, nice work there.

Pharaoh goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Snapple has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Pharaoh but great work by Snapple.

Snapple throws and elbow that misses. Pharaoh uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Snapple's guard. Nice move by Pharaoh!

Pharaoh drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Snapple dives on top into guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Pharaoh drops back, looking for a kneebar! Snapple looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Snapple looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Snapple!

Snapple stands up.
Snapple's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Snapple throws a lazy head kick
and Pharaoh counters with a head kick.


That has opened up Manningham Snapple's cut even more.
Pharaoh misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Snapple will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Manningham Snapple has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Snapple fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Pharaoh avoids it really well and circles away.
Steve Pharaoh is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Pharaoh throws a nice outside leg kick.
Pharaoh fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Snapple.
Snapple takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Snapple tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Pharaoh feints and then cracks Snapple's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Snapple down.
Pharaoh throws a head kick but Snapple moves out of range.
Snapple connects with a crisp jab.
Snapple misses with a body shot.
Pharaoh looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Snapple takes a swing at Pharaoh's ribcage but misses.
Snapple throws a hook to the side of Pharaoh's head but Pharaoh sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Snapple thows a left - swing and a miss!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
An inside leg kick lands from Pharaoh.

Pharaoh shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Snapple napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Pharaoh working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

And that's the end of the fight!

Well Pharaoh has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
