Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tiberius Claudius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and joe Domesko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). joe Domesko is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Gwen Towbar and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Claudius drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Claudius looking to sit in guard and control but Domesko gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Claudius is on top in guard.
Domesko tries to strike from the bottom.
Claudius stands up from Domesko's guard - Claudius perhaps looking for a knockout.
Domesko misses with a head kick.
Claudius moves into the clinch successfully.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Claudius manages to pull guard.
Domesko has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Claudius is proving hard to escape from.

Claudius feints and as Domesko raises his hands in defense, Claudius changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Claudius is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Claudius gets to his feet - Domesko follows without any prompting.
Claudius is breathing heavily.

Claudius looks for a takedown but Domesko sprawls well.

Domesko is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Claudius is controlling him.

Claudius darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Domesko wants to control but Claudius is keeping busy.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Domesko is not content to let Claudius control the position.

and Claudius counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

and Claudius decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Domesko's guard.
Claudius stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Domesko swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Domesko tries to hold on but Claudius pushes him away.

The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Claudius's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
Domesko just trying to survive but Claudius is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
Claudius tries to keep control of the position but Domesko is staying busy.
Claudius is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Domesko is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Domesko tries to keep at a distance but Claudius has taken the fight into the clinch.

Claudius unloads with some shots from mount but Domesko bucks and avoids them well.

and Claudius counters with a nice double leg into side control. Domesko won't be happy with that.
Claudius is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Domesko is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Claudius with the ground and pound but Domesko regains half guard under the barage of strikes.
Claudius seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Domesko does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Well Claudius has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
