Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brian Alves!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Taylor Made!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Chris Downing and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Made is defended easily by Alves.
Made scores with a jab. Alves acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Alves ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Taylor Made seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Made throws a hook to the side of Alves's head but Alves sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Alves misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Made on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Alves. Alves obviously looking to wear him down.
Alves lands with a thumping leg kick.
Made looks to score with a jab to the body but Alves is just out of range.
Made chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Alves can pounce on him.
Alves takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Alves walks into a left hand.
Made missing with a left hand there. Alves was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Made shoots in for a takedown but Alves shows good takedown defense.
Alves displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Made throws out the jab.
Made is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Alves.
Alves tries to close the distance and clinch up but Made swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Made clobbers Alves with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Made listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Alves fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Made.
Made closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Alves did well to prevent Made getting side control.
Alves looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Alves is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Made's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Made's back!
Made has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.
Alves patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here?

Alves is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Alves looking to break Made's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Made remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Alves will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
Made is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.

Made is having to fend off submission attempts from Alves, who is looking to sink in the choke. Alves doesn't have the hooks in though and Made manages to reverse position! He's now on top, in his opponent's guard.
Alves working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Made doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Made manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Made controls from within his opponent's guard.
Alves is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Alves keeping moving, preventing Made from controlling successfully.
Made sitting in guard doing not very much at all here. Alves doesn't need a second invitation though! He's locked up a guillotine and he's squeezing tight! That is tiiiiiiiiight! Made paying the price for stalling here - he's pushing hard on the arm trying to free himself but it's no use! He's tapped! WOW, quick submission from Alves - great work!
