Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shinya Imanari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dick van Greeven (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Imanari kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Era - Ameno. van Greeven has chosen Tom Waits - Telephone call from Istanbul as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Frank Dennis and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Imanari leaves van Greeven with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
van Greeven misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Imanari.
Imanari avoids the body shot from van Greeven.
van Greeven feints and as Imanari raises his hands in defense, van Greeven changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
van Greeven wants to pass the guard but Imanari is keeping the position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as van Greeven accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
van Greeven stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Imanari swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Imanari is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
van Greeven passes into half guard.
Imanari is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but van Greeven pulls his head out easily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
van Greeven trying to pass the guard but Imanari defending well.
Imanari tries to roll over but van Greeven keeps him under control.
Imanari manages to get to full guard.
Imanari is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Imanari is trying to keep van Greeven in close.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
van Greeven is looking to work some ground and pound but Imanari has wrist control.
Imanari had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. van Greeven is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Imanari Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take van Greeven's back instead.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Imanari is hanging on to van Greeven's back as he tries to escape.
Imanari thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent.
van Greeven has hold of Imanari's leg, trying to break free but it's let Imanari lock up a rear naked choke! This could be big trouble! van Greeven is turning an unusual color here… he's out! Imanari throws him to one side and jumps onto the cage to celebrate with his fans.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Shinya Imanari!
