Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adam Tankard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jean Claude Lemeiux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Adam Tankard has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Adam Tankard seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jean Claude Lemeiux!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lemeiux leaves Tankard with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Tankard misses with a looping left.
Lemeiux throws a hook but Tankard blocks it.
Tankard throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Tankard throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Lemeiux shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Tankard pinned against the cage. Tankard gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Lemeiux scores with a body shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The fighters circling - Lemeiux throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

and Tankard counters with a straight right hand.

Tankard has his foot on Lemeiux's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Lemeiux works his way back into a safe position though.
