Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Tames (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Logan Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tames kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is "The Distance" by Cake. The key to victory for James Tames has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, James Tames! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Logan Walker! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Andrew Berry and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Walker tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Tames swivels and escapes. Walker shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Tames sprawls well. Tames wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Walker gets slowly back to his feet. Horrible takedown by Walker or perhaps it was just good defense by Tames which made him look bad. James Tames has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Logan Walker. Walker is trying hard to land a takedown here. Tames sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Walker avoids a punch combination nicely.
Walker darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Walker is working for a submission of some sort.
Tames wants to get back to his feet.
Tames trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Walker is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Tames doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Walker.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tames is concentrating on defense, preventing Walker from advancing position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tames is trying to stand back up but Walker is controlling him
Walker is trying to work for a kimura but Tames is defending well.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Walker slips a jab and a cross from Tames.
Tames cracks a nice hook into Walker's ribs. Tames closes the distance and clinches. Walker tries to pull guard but Tames won't allow it.
A short uppercut from Tames. Tames is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Walker tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Walker changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Tames fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Walker shoots in for a double leg but Tames sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Walker tries to move into range but Tames moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Tames lands a nice looking body shot.
Walker looks gassed! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Tames throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Walker stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Tames takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. A jab-cross combination lands for Tames and sends Walker crashing to the mat! Tames follows him down to the mat - Walker regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!
It looks like Logan Walker has been cut. Tames with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Walker tries to get to full guard but Tames has control of the leg. Tames looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Tames prevents Walker from improving his position. Walker actively working from the bottom here. Tames wants to get back to his feet.
Walker wants to improve his position but Tames is controlling well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Tames slows the pace down in half guard. Walker won't allow Tames to pass to mount.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Walker walks into a straight right hand from Tames. Walker fails with a takedown attempt. James Tames is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Tames with a body punch. A glancing blow. Walker checks a leg kick. Walker takes a shot right to the bread basket. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Tames throws a right hand that Walker ducks under and follows up with a left that Walker also avoids with ease. Tames works Walker's body with a nice hook. Tames connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Nice shot lands for Tames. Tames scores with a hook to the body. Walker takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
James Tames dominated that round. The cut man is working on Logan Walker's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Walker takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Walker is defended easily by Tames. A left lands for Tames. Tames stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Tames wants it to stay on the feet. Tames lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. James Tames is winning the standup battle so far. Tames lands a jab to the head.
Tames with a nice cross. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Tames scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Tames misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Walker moves forwards but Tames connects with a nice, crisp jab. Tames lands with an uppercut that bounces Walker off the cage and back into rage. Left hook, right uppercut from Tames. Tames lands a glancing blow to the side of Walker's head. Walker has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Tames drops Walker with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Walker! Tames dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (strikes). James Tames! James Tames is the new heavyweight champion!
