Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rickson Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Mandyson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Rickson Gracie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Billy Mandyson! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Atkins and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mandyson misses with a series of wild punches.
Mandyson fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Mandyson blocks a jab. Mandyson tries to clinch up. Mandyson misses with a straight left. The fighters circling - Gracie throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Gracie fails with an attempt to clinch.
Gracie punishes Mandyson's body with a nice straight punch. Mandyson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Gracie lands a nice leg kick that just misses Mandyson's sensitive parts. Mandyson looks gassed! Gracie misses with a two punch combination.

A big right from Gracie misses. Gracie scores with a crisp jab that stopped Mandyson in his tracks.
It looks like Billy Mandyson has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Gracie lands a head shot. Gracie clinches up with Mandyson and pushes him back against the cage. Mandyson fails to pull the fight into his guard.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Gracie.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mandyson is trying to break free. A short body shot lands from Gracie as the two fighters clinch.
Mandyson blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Gracie tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Gracie swings wildly with an uppercut but Mandyson uses good head movement to avoid it. Gracie throws a head punch that misses. Gracie tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Mandyson smiles and moves away.
Gracie ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Gracie throws a left that rocks Mandyson and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Gracie dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Mandyson regain composure!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Gracie tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Gracie wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mandyson keeps working. Mandyson takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gracie is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Mandyson has escaped the position, nice work there. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Gracie sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Mandyson is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Mandyson tries to bench press Gracie off him but Gracie keeps the position. Gracie looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Mandyson tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Gracie wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Gracie throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gracie is looking to take a break and control but Mandyson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mandyson gets back to half guard. Gracie lands strikes from half guard. Gracie wants to free his trapped foot but Mandyson is holding on for dear life with his legs. Gracie is looking for a kimura here.
Gracie winds up and cracks Mandyson with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Mandyson pushes Gracie off looking to stand but Gracie dives back in and keeps control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gracie wants to free his trapped foot but Mandyson is holding on for dear life with his legs. Gracie wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mandyson keeps working. Gracie is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Mandyson has managed to free his arm - good work. Gracie passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Mandyson! Gracie tries to control but Mandyson wriggling away. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Gracie shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Mandyson looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Mandyson controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Gracie manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Gracie prevents Mandyson from getting the reversal. Mandyson is breathing heavily. Mandyson has given up his back here. Will Gracie look for the submission or keep pounding away?

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gracie has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. Gracie controlling the position well here. Mandyson rolled but Gracie kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Gracie has a closed guard, preventing Mandyson from standing up. Gracie is trying to control the position but Mandyson postures up. Gracie escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Mandyson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Gracie keeping moving, preventing Mandyson from controlling successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Gracie controls Mandyson momentarily but Mandyson frees himself. Mandyson pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Gracie is keeping the position for now. Mandyson won't allow Gracie to sweep him here.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Mandyson misses with a wild body shot. Mandyson darts in trying to clinch and Gracie counters with a takedown into side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Gracie on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Gracie gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Mandyson to score an easy takedown into full guard. Gracie is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Mandyson takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mandyson won't allow Gracie to sweep him here. Gracie is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Mandyson can do to turn this around? Mandyson is stalling in the full guard. Mandyson would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Gracie is looking for a triangle but Mandyson pushes his legs off easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Mandyson trying to control but Gracie is working from the bottom. Gracie is trying to hold Mandyson in close to prevent damage but Mandyson has managed to pass into half guard.
Gracie regains full guard. Nicely done. Gracie had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Mandyson defends it easily. Mandyson is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gracie not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Gracie will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Mandyson seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Rickson Gracie is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Gracie looking for a sweep. Not yet Gracie, not yet. Mandyson content to stall in guard here. Gracie pushes Mandyson off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. No joy there for Gracie, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Billy Mandyson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Mandyson avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Gracie clinches up with Mandyson and pushes him back against the cage. Gracie has a couple of punches blocked by Mandyson.

Gracie bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Mandyson misses with a combination
and Gracie counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Mandyson fails to pull guard.
Mandyson tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Gracie just stands there and leans against the cage.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Rickson Gracie. Well Gracie has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win...
