The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Seu Braga and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferreira closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Nosay did well to prevent Ferreira getting side control.
Nosay keeping control of the position.
Nosay moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Nosay wants to sweep here but Ferreira controlling him for the moment.
Nosay controls Ferreira momentarily but Ferreira frees himself.
Nosay is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Nosay holds on and takes a little breather.

Ferreira not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Despite being in the dominant position, Golpacha Nosay just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

and Ferreira counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Ferreira.

Nosay takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Nosay wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ferreira keeps working.
Despite being in the dominant position, Golpacha Nosay just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

and Ferreira counters with a single leg into guard. Nosay didn't expect that.
