The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kiliff keeps the fight on the outside.
Mosley blocks a jab.
Kiliff walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Mosley checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Kiliff shoots in for a takedown but Mosley shows good takedown defense.
Kiliff tries for a takedown but Mosley sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Mosley wants to clinch up but Kiliff keeps it at a distance.
Kiliff shoots in for a double leg but Mosley sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Shane Mosley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jett Kiliff.

Kiliff seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

Mosley's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

and Kiliff cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Mosley's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

and Kiliff counters with a head kick. That will keep Mosley thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Kiliff throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mosley's waist but Mosley gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kiliff off to one side.

Jett Kiliff showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
