Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Macho Steiner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and marka im a get ya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). im a get ya has chosen The Ramones - Surfin Bird as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. marka im a get ya is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from im a get ya is defended easily by Steiner.
Steiner misses with a low kick.

Steiner closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Steiner lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Steiner is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

im a get ya working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Steiner doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Steiner manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
