Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jestan Tsemppu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Choi Won Hyeong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jestan Tsemppu has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jestan Tsemppu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Choi Won Hyeong!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Tarja Halkonen and Johanna Lukiainen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tsemppu shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Hyeong slaps away a takedown attempt from Tsemppu, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Hyeong shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Tsemppu is trying to defend but Hyeong finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Tsemppu escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hyeong gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Hyeong decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Tsemppu, up you get!

Tsemppu is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Tsemppu is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Hyeong can do anything to dispel that myth.

Hyeong really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tsemppu. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Tsemppu has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hyeong can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Tsemppu bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hyeong's guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Tsemppu, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
